The Adventure Continue

In Colorado Springs we met a very nice couple in the campground, And if you know Lacy you know he is always asking questions, he wanted to know why the man had clamps on his coach. He told him that  they were for the awing,  when you leave here there is a part of road that is  very very windy. When it was time for us to leave, We headed south on 25 and the wind picked up then I heard a thump and looked out the window I could see the shadow of the awing blowing I told Lacy pull over quick , and thank God he did. It was so windy it was hard opening the door to get out the coach, the wind had caught the awing and it had started to come a apart. Lacy got the ladder  out and was able to add more bungie cords on it , I told him it still look like the wind was getting under and it needed more support. I had seen a video on You Tube and the man said you should always have duck tape  with you in a RV,  and it came in handy we added duck tape to help hold it down, we made it to our  next stop safely, The next morning Lacy let the awing down and thank God it was not broken. Lacy said he will be buying some clamps for the awing. After a good night rest we are on to our next stop.

Leaving Colorado Springs

You can see snow on top of the mountains

A long way to go in the wind, It kill your mileage.

On the side of the road hoping no snakes were in the grass.

Lacy hooked us up.

Lots of duck tape.

Made to the state line.

We made it to a campground in Albuquerque New Mexico
