Our Journey Continue

We left fox river campground on Thur. and went to Council Bluffs Iowa, I got to boonedock (staying overnight without outside support, water e.t.c.) We stayed in the Horseshose Casino parking lot, It was great, I want to do it again, it was a free night, they wanted $31.00 to stay in the camping area where you could get water and electric, We had planned to stay at the casino for two nights, but my brother called and said he was coming across 80 E from New Mexico, we knew he would not make it t Council Bluffs so we headed out west on 80 to meet him in Kearney NE. We found a campground 15 miles away and when we got there it was very small and no shade, no stores close by and we could not find anyone in the office. We decided to keep on going and would try to meet my brother in North Platte NE, I told Lacy by looking at the map he would get there before us. I looked for a campground on the GPS and one in Gothenburg NE. for $15 a night came up, I called my brother and told him were we would meet him there. He called and said he was at the McDonalds in town, We were almost at the McDonalds coming over a hill and Lacy said “Oh shit I think the power steering just went out” we made it there and my brother and his wife was waiting in the parking lot. Lacy look under the hood of the car and the serpentine belt was off. He look up and a chevy dealer was across the street. He went over and the man brought him back to the parking lot, he fix the car in about 10 min. and only charged for the part, Lacy and I know someone is looking over us.
